Tampa, FL – The Tampa Museum of Art has added Ron Christaldi, a partner in the law firm Shumaker, Loop and Kendrick, LLP and President/CEO of Shumaker Advisors Florida LLC, to its Board of Trustees. Christaldi who has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Lawyers in Florida and one of the 100 most influential lawyers in America by the Tampa Bay Business Journal will serve a three-year term.
“The arts spark innovation and creativity in all of us and inspire us. The arts are also an economic driver and a unifier drawing us all closer together,” Christaldi said. “I am honored and excited to join the Tampa Museum of Art’s Board of Trustees.”

Christaldi, the past Chair of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, is known for connecting and building relationships within the community. Generous with his time, he has served on the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation, Friends of the Riverwalk, Inc., City of Tampa Charter Review Commission, Tampa Bay Businesses for Culture and the Arts, Creative Tampa Bay, Inc., City of Tampa Creative Industries Council and the Tampa Theatre Facility Master Plan Task Force among other groups. A founding member of the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Leadership Trust, Christaldi was also recently named to the New College of Florida Board of Trustees and the Ybor City Development Corporation Board of Directors.
Christaldi’s three-year term with the Tampa Museum of Art officially begins this month.
