TOLEDO, OH - Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Thomas G. Pletz, of counsel in the Toledo office, celebrated “Judge Thomas Pletz Day” on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 in honor of his 30 years of service as Acting Judge in the Sylvania Municipal Court.

Tom practices in the Litigation practice group and has over 45 years of experience in state and federal court litigation. Tom is admitted to the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States and is a Life Member of the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals Judicial Conference. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve for 26 years, retiring as a Surface Warfare and Special Warfare Officer with the rank of Commander.

Tom received his J.D. from the University of Toledo and his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
