CHARLOTTE, NC – Shumaker’s Medical Malpractice (“MedMal”) team continues to strengthen its core with the addition of Associate Christopher (“Chris”) T. Hood. Chris joins an already robust MedMal team comprised of eight lawyers and six paralegals, where he brings with him a decade of litigation experience.

As a member of the MedMal team, Chris is focused on defending medical malpractice cases, medical device litigation, nursing home litigation, and catastrophic personal injury litigation. He works closely with clients to develop a tailored strategy customized to their unique business and personal needs, helping his clients approach formidable legal challenges with confidence.

An experienced litigator, Chris has represented a variety of businesses and individuals before state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as the North Carolina Business Court.
