Shumaker's Labor & Employment and Litigation Practice Groups Gain Client-Centric Lawyer Haley D. Kole

TAMPA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP expands its Labor & Employment and Litigation practice groups with the addition of Associate Haley D. Kole, who is focused on advocacy and commitment in representing client interests.

“We are excited that Haley accepted Shumaker’s offer and is joining its Labor and Employment Group,” said Labor & Employment Practice Co-Administrator Jan Pietruszka. “Haley was an excellent summer clerk and has already hit the ground running in assisting clients with their employment law needs. Haley is a great addition to our team.”

Along with her dedication to her law practice, before law school, Haley was a full scholarship student-athlete at a Power 5 conference. She played  Division I volleyball for the University of Virginia and this experience taught her the importance of active communication, team work, and time management all while fueling her competitive nature. A four-year starter, Haley also excelled in the classroom as a three-time All-ACC Academic Volleyball Team and four-time All-ACC Honor Roll honoree.

While in law school, Haley spent her time working as a summer judicial extern for Judge M.K. Thomas of Florida’s First District Court of Appeal, a research assistant for Professor Wayne Logan, and a summer associate with Shumaker’s Tampa office in 2019. She also received a Book Award in Constitutional Law and served as a Staff Editor for the Florida State University Law Review.
