Charlotte Partner, Jack Santaniello, is highly active in diverse boards outside of his successful corporate practice. Dedicated to his community, Jack stays heavily involved with the Latin American Chamber of Commerce of Charlotte and serves on the SHARE Charlotte Board of Directors. Committed to serving the Latin Community, Jack was recently named ‘Businessman of the Year,’ at the 2020 Latin American Excelente Awards, hosted by La Noticia. “The Charlotte region has a wonderfully diverse population and I remain excited about how its citizens continue to increasingly recognize and embrace it,” said Jack.

Charlotte Partner, Karen Stiles, has specialized in medical malpractice for the last 16 years. As the co-chair of the Charlotte office Hiring Committee, Karen dedicates her time to diversity and inclusion through involvement with the Southeastern Minority Job Fair (SEMJF). “We are committed to recruiting, retaining, and promoting attorneys who contribute to the diversity of our firm,” said Karen.

Charleston Managing Partner and Health Care Practice Administrator, Laura Evans, is a proud graduate of the Diversity Leadership Institute (DLI) of the Riley Institute at Furman University. She attended DLI after leading the Charleston County Bar's pro bono response to the Mother Emanuel tragedy, for which she was previously named the South Carolina Bar Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year. The DLI program inspired her to continue her pro bono service, with a renewed focus on childhood education and health care in underserved areas. From arranging for the provision of technology and hotspots for students in rural areas during COVID-19 to providing pro bono legal advice and guidance to health care organizations in underserved communities, Laura believes that there is strength in the differences between us.
