Executive Compensation Consultant Marc E. Stockwell Joins Shumaker Bringing New Service Capabilities to Clients

TOLEDO, OH – Seasoned Compensation Consultant Marc E. Stockwell, has joined Shumaker, where he will provide Executive and Board Compensation services. With more than 30 years of experience in compensation and benefits consulting, Marc will assist clients with consulting services in coordination with Shumaker attorneys who are available to provide legal services that are part of an engagement. Marc’s compensation experience, paired with the legal expertise of Shumaker’s lawyers, brings a unique perspective providing independent and objective advice, to organizations of all sizes looking to attract, retain, motivate, and reward executive team members with competitive and creative compensation plans that are aligned with key stakeholders philosophies, business objectives, and best market practices.

Formerly a Principal and Leader of the Compensation and Rewards Practice of Findley, Inc., Marc’s experience includes designing and implementing compensation plans for a wide range of clients. He has extensive experience consulting with closely held companies with particular emphasis on management compensation and retirement planning issues, including design and implementation of long-term incentive plans, total executive compensation review and compensation strategy development, short- and long-term plan design, and design and implementation of a Board of Director’s compensation plans for both publicly held and private companies.

Marc was a licensed Certified Public Accountant, now inactive; he remains a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He received his B.S. in Accounting from The Ohio State University.
