Shumaker Boosts its Litigation and Community Associations Presence in Tampa with Addition of Former Prosecutor Sean P. Bevil

TAMPA, FL – Shumaker continues to add depth to its Litigation and Community Associations practices as it welcomes former prosecutor Sean P. Bevil to its Tampa office.

Sean comes to Shumaker from the State Attorney’s Office for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, where he was no stranger to the courtroom. As an Assistant State Attorney, Sean was responsible for prosecuting thousands of cases, including felony crimes involving murder, armed robbery, traffic homicide, schemes to defraud, and drug trafficking.

“We are excited to have Sean joining Shumaker. His skills and experience in the courtroom will make our team even stronger,” said Jonathan Ellis, Shumaker Partner and Community Associations Business Sector Chair.

Sean represents clients on a wide variety of issues and disputes. As a former prosecutor with significant trial experience, Sean takes a very practical approach to litigation when it comes to efficiently managing a case and tenaciously arguing his client’s issues.
