Shumaker Grows its Corporate, Tax and Transactions Service Line with Addition of Kaitlin Brummel

TOLEDO, OH – Shumaker announced today that Kaitlin “Kate” Brummel has joined the firm as an associate in its Corporate, Tax and Transactions service line.

Kate takes pride in representing companies spanning a wide range of industries and counseling business owners throughout the life stages of their unique enterprises. Concentrating in the areas of general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial real estate, Kate has a strong background in various corporate and real estate matters, including multimillion-dollar asset, stock, and real estate acquisitions, entity formation and governance, and drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts.

Kate received her law degree, magna cum laude, from Ohio Northern University (ONU) Claude W. Pettit College of Law, where she served as the Manuscript Editor of the ONU Law Review, Civil Procedure Teaching Assistant, and was inducted into the Willis Society, the highest academic honor at ONU College of Law. Kate is also a proud alumna of Hillsdale College, where she received her B.A. in English, cum laude, and played NCAA DII softball.
