COLUMBUS, OH – Shumaker Advisors announced today that Senator Frank Hoagland’s former Senior Legislative Aide, Giovanna Loccisano, has joined the firm as Director of Government Relations and Community Outreach. Giovanna brings with her a commitment to community service and veteran’s initiatives, where she was integral in the creation of the Ohio Veterans’ Treatment Program, which focuses on the quality of life for veterans and first responders.

Prior to joining Shumaker, in addition to serving three years as Senior Legislative Aide to Senator Frank Hoagland, Giovanna was also Clerk of the Ohio Senate Veterans and Public Safety Committee and she spent one year as the Public Information Officer for Ohio Homeland Security and the Ohio School Safety Center at the Department of Public Safety. Giovanna's work experience contributes to her comprehensive knowledge of veteran initiatives, workforce development, as well as security and threat mitigation regarding critical infrastructure sites and schools.
