TAMPA, FL – Shumaker lawyers Sara Jawad and Tommy McDonnell join a select group of applicants chosen to participate in the Tampa Connection Class of 2023. Tampa Connection is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide local business professionals with the necessary tools to become active leaders and volunteers in the Tampa Bay Community. The year-long program exposes class members to leadership development, social, and community service opportunities while immersing them in the local community.
A member of the Litigation and Disputes Service Line, Sara focuses her practice on advising condominium associations and homeowners’ associations in collections and covenant enforcement, as well as providing practical guidance on the numerous rules and regulations governing community associations. In addition, Sara’s litigation experience includes handling construction defect cases, real estate fraud, defamation, first-party property insurance claims, and professional negligence.
“It is a privilege to be selected as a member of the Tampa Connection Class of 2023, and I am excited for the opportunity to help strengthen the community through the program,” Sara shared.
