TAMPA, FL – Jessica L. Prats has joined Shumaker as a Senior Attorney in the firm’s Litigation and Disputes Service Line, where she focuses on Community Associations law.

Jessica began practicing community association law while working at one of the largest insurance defense firms in Florida, where she transitioned to the practice of first-party property insurance defense and honed her knowledge and acumen in that area of practice. Over the course of her career, Jessica has presented multiple seminars to her clients and published a number of articles, ranging in topics from cast iron plumbing litigation to hurricane claims. She has taken several cases to trial and is currently completing her mediation certification.
