TAMPA, FL – Shumaker Advisors is pleased to announce that Celeste Schettino has been promoted to Assistant Director of Operations. Celeste, who recently graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, will be responsible for assisting the Chief of Staff, focusing primarily on business development and client retention. She will continue to work closely with Shumaker Advisors to tailor strategies for business development, including firm-wide fundraising, marketing materials, prospecting, and proposals.

“Celeste has spent the last 18 months learning our organization and team members. She is dependable, proactive, and goes above and beyond in her work, which are just a few of the drivers of her promotion” said Gino Casanova, Chief of Staff for Shumaker Advisors.

Celeste most recently served as Manager of Government Relations for Shumaker Advisors. Prior to joining Shumaker Advisors, Celeste worked for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in the Commissioner’s Office as an executive assistant to Nikki Fried. She also previously worked for nonprofit organizations, where she assisted with the development and implementation of donor communications and relations. In addition to earning her MPA from FSU, Celeste also received her B.S. in International Affairs and Economics in 2019.
