TOLEDO, OH – The national law firm Shumaker today announced that, effective January 1, 2023, Zachary P. Madden has been elected to the firm’s Management Committee, which is the firm’s top leadership committee comprised of seven partners and the Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officers. Zach had previously served as a member of the firm’s Finance Committee and Hiring and Associate Compensation Committee and as the hiring partner for the firm’s Toledo office.

Zach is a member of Shumaker’s Corporate, Tax and Transactions Service Line. He is recognized for his work with public and private companies of all sizes in complex corporate transactions and all types of other corporate matters, including corporate governance and securities matters.

Zach brings his relational, solutions-oriented approach to his service as the relationship partner for Welltower Inc., one of the firm’s largest clients. He coordinates with the firm’s many practice groups—including real estate, litigation, employment, environmental, intellectual property, and tax—from all of its offices to serve Welltower’s needs.
