TOLEDO, OH — Shumaker is pleased to announce that lawyer Jack Kelly has graduated from the Leadership Toledo Signature program, which connects individuals with the community, engaging and involving them with initiatives that make the Toledo region a great place to live, work, and enjoy.
This 10-month experiential program provides individuals with the opportunity to become more confident leaders, connect with the community on a deeper level, grow stronger in self-awareness, and serve in ways that are meaningful to them. Participants from diverse backgrounds and professions come together each month for intensive sessions that focus on community needs and issues and define the roles they can play in addressing those needs.
“Partnering with other service-minded individuals in the community to improve people's lives was an amazing experience,” said Jack. “My work making the Toledo region a great place to live will continue as will the friendships I made in Leadership Toledo."
Jack works with families and individuals, focusing his practice in the areas of estate planning, tax planning, business succession planning, and estate and trust administration. Always looking out for the clients’ best interests, Jack crafts and amends estate plans tailored to the clients’ family circumstances, professional interests, and philanthropic goals.
After spending five years as a teacher, coach, and campus minister, Jack’s love of learning led him to law school. Jack’s vocation as an estate planner was a natural fit given his passion for family and community. He draws on his classroom experience to help clients understand complicated legal matters and embrace their plans for the future.
