CHARLESTON, SC – Three Shumaker lawyers have been selected to the 2024 South Carolina Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists. For the 13th consecutive year, Charleston Partner and Litigation and Disputes Regional Service Line Leader J. Bennett Crites, III has been selected for inclusion to the Super Lawyers list. Partner Nicholas C.C. Stewart and Associate Abigail Young Bechtol were recognized as Rising Stars.
Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
