Hannah M. Compton Joins the Ranks of Over 1,500 Leadership Tampa Bay Alumni

TAMPA, FL – Committed to community, Hannah M. Compton has graduated from the Leadership Tampa Bay Class of 2024. In operation for more than 30 years and with more than 1,500 alumni, the program identifies the region’s strengths in order to build upon them and delves into issues facing the region to explore ways to bridge differences.

"It has been an incredible journey and a true honor to be part of the Leadership Tampa Bay Class of 2024," said Hannah. "This program has broadened my perspective on the issues facing our community and has inspired me to take a more active role in fostering growth and innovation in the Tampa Bay area."

Participants of Leadership Tampa Bay are chosen based on their demonstrated leadership potential, community involvement, and commitment to making a positive impact in the Tampa Bay area.

Throughout the program, Hannah engaged in a series of comprehensive seminars, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities with prominent business, civic, and government leaders. These experiences have equipped her with a deeper insight into the region's challenges and opportunities, as well as a strengthened network of peers committed to driving positive change.

Hannah is a member of Shumaker’s Labor and Employment Service Line, where she represents employers and provides litigation defense for current and former employees. Hannah’s practice focuses on employment discrimination and wage cases, drafting employee handbooks and employment agreements, and conducting workplace trainings and workplace investigations for employers. Additionally, Hannah routinely works alongside her clients to counsel them on enforcement of non-competition and non-solicit agreements.
