With over three decades of experience in law, April is a seasoned paralegal with deep legal acumen and commitment to client advocacy. She focuses her practice on health law, construction, and commercial litigation, bringing a practical, solutions-oriented approach that clients and colleagues alike appreciate.
April's tenure in the legal profession includes roles as a receptionist and legal assistant, where she helped with case preparation and drafting pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and motions for summary judgement. At Shumaker, she will continue to utilize her repository of knowledge and skills to assist clients involved in business and construction litigation and health law matters.
Outside of the office, April enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren.
