Celeste supports the operations, business development, and strategic initiatives of Shumaker Advisors, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. With a sharp focus on cross-functional collaboration, she leads firm-wide initiatives related to fundraising, prospecting, marketing, content development, and client engagement.
Working closely with executive leadership, Celeste helps translate strategic vision into actionable goals, ensuring alignment across departments and maximizing organizational impact. She is instrumental in enhancing internal systems and communications, streamlining processes, and supporting high-level decision-making that advances both client success and firm growth.
Prior to joining Shumaker Advisors, Celeste served in the Commissioner's Office at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services as Executive Assistant to Agriculture Secretary Nikki Fried. She also brings nonprofit experience, having worked on donor relations and communications strategies for mission-driven organizations.
Celeste holds a master's degree in public administration from Florida State University (2022) and a bachelor's in international affairs and economics from FSU (2019). She is a proud graduate of the Tampa Connection Class of 2024–2025, where she supported local nonprofit CoreyStrong through a community-focused group project.
Deeply committed to civic engagement, Celeste actively volunteers with organizations such as, No Kid Hungry and Children's Miracle Network.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, newborn daughter, and their lovable Bernedoodle, and cheering on the teams of Champa Bay!
