David resolves conflict. He brings nearly 30 years of experience litigating, arbitrating, mediating, and negotiating various types of disputes, including complex commercial/business, health care, construction, employment, and real estate matters.
David combines a bet-the-company skillset with a value-driven mindset. He won Central Ohio's largest jury verdict in 2011, he is rated AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubbell® (the highest level of professional excellence), and he is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. David represents numerous NYSE-listed global enterprises, for which he has developed proprietary litigation systems to accelerate workflow efficiencies.
Beyond his practice, David is a leader in the community and among his peers—he has held key leadership positions in various industry associations, not-for-profit organizations, and at previous law firms. He was recognized as one of Central Ohio’s “Forty under 40” (more years ago than he might care to admit), and he has served for almost 10 years in the Ohio Supreme Court Mentorship Program, helping young attorneys transition from law school to practice.
Outside the office, David holds a black belt in the Korean martial art Tang Soo Do. When he's not writing checks that his body now struggles to cash, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, two daughters, stepson, dog, and cat.
