A paralegal on Shumaker's Bankruptcy, Insolvency & Creditors' Rights team, Delaney assists clients in all stages of bankruptcy litigation and is known for being a dependable and zealous advocate for their legal concerns.
Delaney's career experience is varied—she previously gained valuable industry experience working as a litigation paralegal at Dechert LLP in Washington, D.C. and has worked as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at a venture capital fund and as Chief of Staff at a meal delivery start-up. She is also the co-founder of a plant-based food business.
Delaney earned her B.A. in history and philosophy with high honors from the College of William & Mary in 2016 and her MBA from Rice University in 2022. At Rice, she was a Forte Fellow and awarded the Outstanding Woman in Business award for the class of 2022.
In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, cooking for and with friends and family, and volunteering with the Junior League of Houston.
