Francis "Ward" Paschal

Senior Counsel

Ward works closely with corporate clients to help them navigate the issues and opportunities inherent to running a business. With experience in capital markets, he focuses his practice on corporate governance work, such as Section 16 matters, insider trading regulations and executive compensation matters, and capital markets transactions, including private placements, registered direct offerings, and at-the-market shelf offerings.

Although Ward has represented a broad range of companies, he has particular experience in the life sciences and biotechnology industries. His representative matters also extend to investment funds and economic capital/venture capital matters, providing him with a unique perspective on his clients' business goals and the best methods to achieve them.

Ward earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and a B.A. in Accounting from Indiana University. In his free time, he enjoys snow skiing; he tries to ski on a new mountain or in a new part of the world each winter.
