Isabel M. Troncoso

Associate

Isabel is a member of Shumaker's Intellectual Property (IP) and Health Law Service Lines. A detail-oriented, hardworking attorney with a diverse practice, she assists with general transactional IP matters while also helping health care clients stay compliant with an evolving web of laws and regulations.

Isabel's work experience prior to attending law school, as well as her undergraduate education, gave her the strong foundation she needed to become a strategic, knowledgeable IP and health law attorney. She previously worked as a medical assistant, where she gained a unique understanding of how health care regulations and policies translate to actual clinical practice that continues to inform her legal counsel. At the University of South Florida, Isabel majored in biomedical science and minored in biomedical physics, a unique course of study that piqued her interest in both IP/patent law and health law.

A graduate of Stetson University College of Law, Isabel served as the Research Editor on Stetson Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court team. Isabel also served as a Summer Associate in Shumaker's Tampa office, pairing her health care industry experience with firsthand knowledge on how to provide skilled, trusted counsel to health care clients. She also holds a Juris Master in Healthcare Regulation from Florida State University.

Outside of the office, Isabel enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time with her family and dogs.
