Jordan is a health care attorney who advises clients on a broad range of regulatory, policy, and compliance matters, including state scope of practice and prescriptive authority laws, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and 42 CFR Part 2 compliance, and Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement. She regularly represents federally qualified health centers, medical providers, trade associations, child welfare providers, recovery home operators, and community behavioral health organizations.
Jordan works closely with clients to understand their day-to-day clinical and compliance operations, allowing her to deliver practical, tailored solutions with both immediate and lasting impact. Through her work as a strategic advisor for a behavioral health agency's compliance department, she gained a deep understanding of the federal patient privacy laws and state Medicaid regulations affecting behavioral health providers—experience she now draws upon when advising clients on complex regulatory and compliance issues.
Jordan also has a unique skill set supporting community behavioral health providers through Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accreditation and reaccreditation, as well as Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) certification and recertification.
Outside of her legal practice, Jordan enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, hiking, and practicing yoga.
