Krystina E. Garabis

Associate

Krystina has a diversified litigation background with a primary focus in products, transportation, and toxic tort litigation, as well as defending clients in matters involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and insurance coverage. Her current practice focuses on environmental litigation, white collar crime, and business litigation.

Additionally, Krystina is working to become a leading authority in drone litigation and drone legislation.

She is a lifelong resident of the Columbus area, growing up in Upper Arlington and attending Columbus School for Girls, where she played on the golf team. Krystina received her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and received her M. A. in Public Affairs from The Ohio State University. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature at Michigan State University. Outside the office, Krystina enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with her dog.

Representative Matters
  • Following a four year grand jury investigation, served as counsel in the successful defense of a price fixing, bid rigging, and fraud case brought by the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division. Discovery produced by the five prosecutors consisted of almost three terabytes of data, while their exhibit list was 160 pages long. After a three week jury trial in U.S. District Court in Tampa, FL, the jury deliberated for two days before returning verdicts of "not guilty" on all counts.
