Kyle is a registered patent attorney and former United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) patent examiner with over a decade of experience in patent prosecution, litigation, and strategic counseling. With a background in computer science, he helps clients—ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies—secure and enforce patents in emerging technology areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), quantum computing, and financial technologies.
Known for balancing deep technical insight with business-focused legal strategy, Kyle counsels clients on a broad range of intellectual property (IP) matters, including:
- U.S. and international patent preparation and prosecution
- Patent eligibility evaluations under Section 101
- Freedom to operate, patentability, and infringement analyses
- Strategic patent portfolio development
Kyle began his legal career as a patent examiner at the USPTO, where he examined applications related to mobile systems, cloud platforms, behavioral analytics, location-based services, and payment technologies. In private practice, his experience includes work at a global AmLaw 10 firm, where he advised clients on matters involving:

- Quantum computing and advanced software platforms
- Financial technologies, blockchain, and business methods

- Automotive components and cloud-based infrastructures
He has also contributed to litigation and post-grant proceedings, including Inter Partes Reviews (IPRs), and has reviewed joint development and licensing agreements as part of broader IP strategy initiatives.
Kyle enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife, two children, and their Goldendoodle, Enzo. He mentors young professionals, follows trends in emerging technology and entrepreneurship, and loves to learn new skills—he is currently teaching himself to play the guitar.
