Lisa is a partner on the Medical Malpractice Litigation team, where she represents health care providers, including doctors, large hospital systems, nurses, and dentists who have been accused of medical negligence. Clients look to Lisa for her unmatched work ethic.
With over a decade of experience, Lisa has tried cases in numerous counties throughout the middle and western parts of the state as both a first and second chair trial attorney. She has also assisted with appeals, including the drafting of appellate briefs, one of which resulted in a favorable published opinion by the Court of Appeals that is often cited and relied upon by fellow defense attorneys. In addition, she has successfully defended health care providers before other regulatory authorities, including:

- North Carolina Board of Nursing
- North Carolina Stat Board of Dental Examiners
- North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
Lisa has also successfully represented a veterinarian before the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Board.
Lisa previously served as an assistant state attorney for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Outside the courtroom, Lisa finds time to make her passion for community improvement a priority through action. When Lisa is not working, she enjoys riding horses, traveling, and spending time with family.
