Rachel is a paralegal in Shumaker's Real Estate, Construction & Development Service Line, where she regularly works on matters related to residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales, purchases, and refinances.
Prior to joining Shumaker, Rachel worked in the real estate scene in Charlotte and Charleston and earned her South Carolina Real Estate License. As a licensed Realtor, she is well versed in the everyday attributes of real estate transactions, as well as the potential opportunities and pitfalls—knowledge that she leverages for the benefit of clients and colleagues alike.
Born in Atlanta and raised in Charlotte, Rachel earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Rachel finds joy in the simple pleasures of life, including spending time with her husband, Max, and their gentle giant of a St. Bernard pup, Basil. She is also a die-hard Carolina Panthers and Fantasy Football fan and can be found cheering on her team every Sunday during the season.
