Sarah M. Glaser

Focusing on health care law and commercial litigation, Sarah counsels businesses, business owners, and employees from a variety of industries, including health care, banking and financial institutions, manufacturing, transportation, and distribution. Sarah also represents clients in non-compete litigation and other business disputes.

In her health care-focused practice, Sarah serves as part of a team of outside counsel for a large local hospital handling a full range of regulatory, compliance, transactional, contract, and business matters. She advises clients on matters that include:

  • Health care reform
  • Consumer protection laws and fraud and abuse laws
  • Stark Law
  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
  • Medicare and Medicaid regulations
  • Corporate compliance programs and corporate governance
  • State licensure and other federal and state regulatory matters

Sarah is recognized as a leader within the firm and serves as co-chair of Shumaker’s Women’s Leadership Initiative.
