Tyler J. Brown

Associate

A third-generation civil litigator, Tyler helps individuals and businesses navigate real property, contract, construction, landlord-tenant, and debt-collections disputes with clarity and confidence. He guides clients through problems that often feel overwhelming, bringing structure, strategy, and steady communication to every stage of their matter. His primary goal is to give clients practical solutions and reliable advocacy when they need it most.

Tyler's approach to litigation is rooted in the advocacy skills he developed early in his legal career. In his first year of practicing law, he was recognized by the Florida Supreme Court for donating more than 20 hours of pro bono legal services to indigent clients, and he received the 2024 "Outstanding Service by a Young Lawyer" award from Manasota Legal Aid. During his time in law school, Tyler helped first year students as a teaching assistant in 1L Civil Procedure, became a two-time national moot court champion, earned the "Moot Court Board Award of Excellence" from his classmates, received "Best Oralist" in his first-year appellate argument competition, and was recognized with the "Judge John M. Scheb Excellence in Appellate Advocacy" award. Tyler was also inducted into the Order of the Barristers for outstanding advocacy and service. These experiences helped him build the communication, preparation, and strategic judgment he uses today to represent clients effectively inside and outside the courtroom.

A lifelong Sarasota resident, Tyler is deeply connected to the community he serves. His familiarity with the area's property issues, local business environment, and regional nuances allows him to approach each case with both legal understanding and practical insight. For clients, that means working with an attorney who not only understands the law but understands the community in which their legal challenges arise.

When he's not practicing law, Tyler enjoys staying active in the music, culture, and arts scene which enriches Sarasota. He also enjoys exploring local restaurants, traveling, playing pickleball, and spending time with friends, family, and his dog.
