In practice for over 15 years, Chris takes a practical, solutions-oriented approach to helping clients with their real estate needs. Chris has substantial experience representing builders, developers, investors, and individuals in both commercial and residential transactions. His practice focuses on property acquisitions, development, use, and sales, including:

  • Negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, loan documents, options, covenants, easements, construction documents, lease agreements, and other transactional documents
  • Conducting due diligence, including title and survey review and review of land use regulations
  • Working with both traditional and private lenders to secure borrower financing
  • Communicating with clients, title companies, lenders, municipalities, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction

Outside of the office, you can find Chris surfing at Folly Beach, snowboarding and hiking in the Rocky Mountains, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on his beloved Gamecocks.
