As a nurse paralegal for the medical malpractice team, Carmen assists attorneys by organizing and analyzing the medical records. Attracted to being a nurse paralegal for the unique characteristics of a role that allows her to use experience gained as a registered nurse at a busy cardiac telemetry unit, many of the clients Carmen works with in her current role share much in common with her former patients. Carmen is board certified in cardiac-vascular nursing and is certified in basic life support and advance cardiac life support.
Away from work, Carmen enjoys music, film, trivia, short stories, current events, and crossword puzzles. She also enjoys dining out and the outdoors, especially when with close friends and family, including her young son.
