Carol A. Gordon

Paralegal

A Florida Registered Paralegal and a certified paralegal in the Wealth Strategies Service Line, Carol has been with the firm for almost 40 years. Working closely with families and individuals to assist them in handling the affairs of their loved ones, she primarily focuses on estate and trust administration, and guardianships, which include day-to-day financial trust matters, as well as final settlement and distribution. Additionally, she deals with guardianship matters for both adults and minors, working one-on-one with the family during this process.

Deciding to pursue a career as a paralegal in her first year of college, Carol began taking legal classes, as well as interning with several law firms and the state attorney’s office. Her extensive experience in handling all aspects of estates and trusts allows her to work closely with families handling the legal affairs of their loved ones from start to finish.

As an involved member of her community, Carol loves volunteering for various community events such as those held by the American Diabetes Association, the American Cancer Society, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Sarasota County.

Carol is widowed from her wonderful husband of more than 30 years. She has raised two fabulous children into adulthood, and she has two granddaughters. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family (especially her new granddaughter), friends, and her dog. Her favorite past-time is going to the beach or hanging out by the pool, with a close second being going shopping.
