With broad experience and passion for the construction industry, Natasha has deep experience in defending owners, architects, and contractors against commercial claims for design defects, such as water intrusion and concrete failure. She has a background in complex, multi-party disputes, with unique experience gained working for a multifamily general contractor, where she worked her way through the project management and preconstruction tracks on projects ranging from $20 million to $50 million.
Natasha’s practice includes:
- Drafting American Institute of Architects, Design-Build Institute of America, and proprietary construction contracts
- Assisting with legal documents such as joint check agreements, weather delay policies/contract language, notices of delay and termination, and lien waivers, among others
- Assisting with critical path method (CPM) schedules, construction budgets, pay applications, change orders, value engineering alternates, safety protocols, quality control, and eliminating scope gaps
Outside of the office, Natasha volunteers in support of FemFest NC, a nonprofit female-focused music festival that supports domestic abuse victims and funds emergency shelters. She also enjoys training for 5Ks, spending time with friends, traveling, and working on visual art projects.
