With both an undergraduate and graduate degree from Missouri University of Science and Technology, one of the country's top engineering colleges, Mike brings more than 20 years of experience in vehicle engineering, analysis, and software development. With his avocations of aviation and building and fixing all matter of things, Mike develops a wide background and knowledge of most inventions before he begins preparing a patent application.
Mike has a talent for technical writing and is licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office in patent cases. He specializes in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a wide variety of technology areas, including:
- Mechanical and robotics
- Aerospace
- Control methods and systems
- Electrical and electronic
- Autonomous vehicles and other vehicle control systems
- Fuel cells
- Business processes
- Computer algorithms and software
Mike makes time to support his children's activities by volunteering to coach or manage their sports teams and build sets for school plays and dances, as well as attending such sports events and theater productions. He also enjoys spending time outdoors on the lake water skiing or wake surfing, playing golf, or hunting and fishing.
