As director of human resources and recruitment, Wendy is motivated to bridge business and personnel needs through fostering a positive, inclusive culture, and safe environment for all Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP professionals, employees, and guests. With 26 years of experience, she is familiar with supervising and providing consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, recruitment, training and development, budget, and labor relations.
Wendy is the President of the Northwest Ohio Association of Legal Administrators. She is also a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the National Association of Law Placement (NALP). Despite her busy schedule, Wendy still finds time to spend time with her family, watching her daughter play softball, and seeing her son play drums in a local church band. She also enjoys reading, riding motorcycles, running, and playing golf.
