On March 4, 2020 Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP filed the first Class Action in the nation against Robinhood due to its March 2, 2020 crash and the damages to users caused by this crash. On January 29, 2021, Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP filed a second class action against Robinhood in response to the trade restrictions the company placed on various securities. The goal of this lawsuit is to hold Robinhood accountable and seek compensation for possibly millions of Robinhood users who suffered losses as a direct result of these trade restrictions.
