She makes every effort to resolve disputes through mediation, arbitration, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution while remaining prepared to advocate fiercely for her clients at trial.
Before joining Shumaker, Megan practiced business litigation at a Miami-area law firm, representing clients in state and federal courts in matters involving partnership disputes, breaches of fiduciary duty, contract disputes, and unfair competition. That experience complements her broad practice and adds to the firm's capabilities in handling business disputes.
