Wendy M. Byrne Named Vice Chair of OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital Development Board

COLUMBUS, OH — Shumaker's Wendy M. Byrne has been named Vice Chair of the OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital Development Board. In this leadership role, she will serve a two-year term, continuing her dedication to advancing the hospital's mission through philanthropy, advocacy, and community engagement.

Wendy has been a valued member of the Development Board since 2023 and has served on the Board's Nominating Committee since 2024. Her leadership, insight, and passion for community service have already made a lasting impact, and her new role as Vice Chair will further empower her to support Riverside Methodist Hospital's continued excellence.

A lifelong resident of Columbus, Wendy is deeply committed to giving back to the community she proudly calls home.

In her professional life, Wendy serves as Director of Communications & Client Development for the national law firm Shumaker, where she works directly with clients to demonstrate the firm's collaborative and long-term value. With more than 20 years of experience in strategic communications, business development, and marketing, Wendy is known for her ability to build strong relationships and deliver transformative results.
