Cheri A. Budzynski Panelist at Ohio Diversity Council’s Toledo Women in Leadership Symposium

TOLEDO, OH – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Toledo partner, Cheri A. Budzynski, was a panelist at the Ohio Diversity Council's 2nd Annual Toledo Women in Leadership Symposium.  The event was held on March 2, 2016. 

Cheri presented "Branding:  Becoming Visible and Importance to Self."  She discussed building networks, leveraging connections and the importance of self-branding, all of which are essential to climb the corporate ladder.

The focus of the symposium is to bring together a diverse mix of successful women leaders who, through the discussion of topics relevant to today’s issues will educate, inspire and encourage women to reflect on their own goals and status as they strive to advance within their organizations.

Cheri is a member of the environmental practice group.  She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from The University of Toledo College of Law.  Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Cheri received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology with an emphasis in Behavioral Neuroscience from Bowling Green State University.  She worked as a professor at Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio where she also served as the Chair for the Department of Psychology.  Cheri received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Lourdes College.
