TOLEDO, OH – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Douglas G. Haynam has accepted appointment to the Ohio State Bar Association’s Commission on Judicial Candidates.

The purpose of the Commission shall be to evaluate persons who have announced themselves as candidates for the offices of chief justice and justice of the Supreme Court of Ohio and thereafter to publicize the ratings given to the candidates for such offices. The Commission shall also attempt to gather information for consideration by appropriate persons regarding the qualifications of candidates for appointment to vacancies on the Supreme Court of Ohio and on the Federal Courts serving Ohio.

Doug is a partner in the environmental practice group in the Toledo office.  He has a broad range of experience in environmental and administrative law, including environmental compliance, litigation, consultation, and civil and criminal enforcement matters. Doug is a past-chair of the OSBA’s Environmental Law Committee.

Doug received his J.D., with honors, from The Ohio State University and his B.S., cum laude, from Miami University.
