TOLEDO, OH – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce the newly elected members of the firm’s Management Committee and the newly elected Chair as of January 1, 2019.
The new members of the Committee include Jennifer B. Compton who also assumes the role of Managing Partner of the Sarasota office. Jennifer commented that “It is an honor to have been elected by my colleagues to serve in this role.” Jennifer is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in labor and employment law. She is a lifelong Sarasota resident and is very involved in the Sarasota community. Jennifer also previously served as the Sarasota Marketing Partner.
Sharon Fulop has also joined the Management Committee and is located in the firm’s Toledo office. Her practice involves all aspects of real estate and financing law, including a special focus on development and construction. No stranger to firm leadership, Sharon previously served as a co-administrator of the firm’s real estate practice group, and as co-chair of the firm’s Professional Development Committee and co-chair of Shumaker’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
Thomas P. Dillon has been elected Chair of the Management Committee. He also leads the Toledo office and is a litigator representing businesses in complex disputes. Additionally, he serves as outside general counsel for small and medium sized businesses. Tom commented, “I am honored to have been elected Chair and proud to lead such an exceptional firm.”
The firm is led by the Management Committee, comprised of nine partners, as well as the Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officers.
