TOLEDO, OH  – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Louis E. Tosi, Toledo partner and Environmental practice group administrator, was a panelist at The University of Toledo College of Law's 19th Annual Great Lakes Water Conference held on November 8, 2019. The conference addressed numerous issues that impact the Great Lakes region. Lou discussed the Lake Erie Bill of Rights (LEBOR) which is a legal tool for protecting Lake Erie from pollution,  in his presentation titled “The LEBOR Litigation:  Comments from a Corporate Perspective.”
 
Lou is a nationally known environmental lawyer and has handled significant Clean Water Act matters. He is a frequent speaker on legal and sustainability matters and recently sponsored a major independent symposium of regional and national experts on the algae crisis in Lake Erie.
