TAMPA, FL – Tampa Partner Chris Cavaliere served as Chair of the Conference Committee for the HR Tampa Annual Conference held October 2, 2020. Due to COVID-19, this year’s conference was the first in its 20-year history to be presented virtually and with over 500 HR professionals registering, the conference was a huge success. In addition to chairing the conference committee, Shumaker sponsored the event, and Chris presented an employment law update on the topic of “Workplace Safety and Health in the COVID-19 Era.” Chris currently sits on HR Tampa’s Executive Committee as President-Elect and will serve as President in 2021. HR Tampa is Tampa Bay’s premier professional association of human resource professionals with over 600 members.
