In the Carolinas, Patrick shares the designation with only 15 CLP certification holders and is the sole lawyer in private practice with the designation.
The CLP designation distinguishes those who have demonstrated their experience, proficiency, knowledge, and exposure to licensing and the commercialization of IP. The CLP program was created to recognize the licensing professional's experience and qualifications, as well as their education and professional development, and focuses on internationally applicable standards of practice, ethics, and excellence to differentiate licensing professionals who have taken the steps necessary to become certified.
