Michele Leo Hintson Named Vice Chair of Pasco County EDC

TAMPA, FL – Shumaker Partner and Litigation and Disputes Regional Service Line Leader Michele Leo Hintson has been appointed Vice Chair of the Pasco County Economic Development Council (Pasco EDC), where she will assist leading the economic development organization that is dedicated to the overall growth and prosperity of Pasco County through the development of a sustainable and diversified economy. Michele’s term started October 1, 2022. She has been a member of the Pasco EDC Board of Directors since 2015 and served as Vice Chair of the Growth Task Force from 2015 to 2016. Committed to the advancement of Pasco County, Michele also served as a member of the Leadership Pasco Class of 2013.

Michele always provides valuable input to our meetings to assist in further developing our programs, while also involving investors in the process. With 20 years of experience, Michele is a seasoned business litigator and Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator who dedicates her practice to representing individuals and a variety of businesses, including insurance companies, for profit entities, and health care organizations, with their litigation needs. She also works closely with transactional attorneys to analyze risk during the inception of a business relationship and engages with clients in various industries both during and after litigation. Working with plaintiffs and defendants in litigation, Michele focuses on all aspects of the dispute resolution process.
