WASHINGTON, D.C. — A nationally recognized government affairs leader at the forefront of the Washington, D.C. lobbying industry is joining Shumaker Advisors. Beginning March 6, Jason Ouimet will serve as Senior Vice President of Federal Affairs at Shumaker Advisors.

Prior to joining Shumaker Advisors, Jason spent the past 18 years at the National Rifle Association where he most recently served as the Executive Director of the National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA), where he was responsible for overseeing and directing the political and legislative arm of the NRA. Before joining the NRA, Jason served as a Legislative Assistant to former Senator Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) and as an analyst for both the National Republican Senatorial Committee and the Republican National Committee.
