Christina A. Lakatos

A member of Shumaker's Litigation & Disputes Service Line, Christina focuses her practice on Insurance Recovery matters, dedicated to helping policyholders recover funds across numerous claim types.

Christina brings diverse experience across multiple areas of litigation, including white collar criminal prosecution. Prior to joining Shumaker, she practiced litigation at another Cleveland-area firm; served as a Summer Law Clerk at the Cuyahoga County Public Defender's Office; served as a Legal Extern at the Office of the Federal Public Defender, Northern District of Ohio; and externed with Judge Solomon Oliver of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. With additional experience in international relations and wine sales, Christina brings a well-rounded approach to every dispute.

Christina earned her J.D. from the Cleveland State University College of Law, an M.A. in International Affairs from the George Washington University, and a B.A. from Washington and Lee University. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family in the outdoors, running, and playing games on the New York Times app.
