Jill is a member of Shumaker's Real Estate, Construction, & Development Service Line, where she guides clients through nearly every facet of commercial and residential real estate transactions—from property acquisition, disposition, and leasing matters to private and traditional financing, lender representation, and development.
Prior to joining Shumaker, Jill spent several years practicing real estate at another Sarasota law firm. Her deep breadth of experience in transactional real estate includes:
- Commercial and residential lease agreements
- Commercial and residential purchase sale agreements
- Commercial and residential closings
- Commercial lender representation
- Private financing
- Condominium development
Outside of her active legal practice, Jill dedicates her time to the community through various organizations such as the local bar association, Junior League, the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, and Legal Aid of Manasota.
Jill is a lifelong Floridian who spends her weekends in nature or out on the water with her family, trying to teach her kids to be avid boaters. If she is not at work or with her kids, Jill is probably crafting or catching up on her most recent book for her book club.
