John specializes in preparing and prosecuting patent applications for inventions relating to highly technical subject matters. He practices with the understanding that the biggest challenge for manufacturers is implementing systems that enable a free flow of information throughout the supply chain while simultaneously protecting valuable data and intellectual property (IP) from unauthorized access. Additionally, John's practice includes client counseling and drafting various IP opinions, including patentability, validity, non-infringement, and freedom to practice opinions.
A former patent examiner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office who has been practicing law for more than 30 years, John has extensive experience related to:
