Luis is a member of the Wealth Strategies Service Line, where he focuses his practice on matters related to trust and estate planning, corporate transactions, tax analysis and controversy, and probate law.
Because his clients frequently have business interests, Luis also is well versed in corporate and tax law matters such as commercial transactions and entity formations. Additionally, Luis’s experience includes:
- Working with clients to resolve complicated IRS issues involving personal and corporate liabilities
- Counseling high-net-worth clients on trust and estate planning matters, including the preparation of powers of attorney
- Preparing simple and complex wills and trusts
- Charitable gift planning
Active in both community and professional organizations, Luis is a member of the Pinellas County Estate Planning Council; the Clearwater Bar Association, where he formerly served as President of the Young Lawyers Division; and the Tampa Hispanic Bar Association, where he currently serves as treasurer. Outside of the office, Luis enjoys running, playing chess, kayaking, and tending to his chickens.
